This work group is coordinated by Stefan Ziegler, divisional director of software for BITKOM in Berlin and chairman of Knut Degen, founder of the specialized tool provider on embedded systems Sysgo GmbH in Mainz, Germany. This group plans to actively increase the visibility of the embedded systems sector. It has been decided that the fragmented and extremely separated economic sector of Germany, as well as the current demand for skilled workers for the embedded sector, are to be analyzed.
Regular meetings are open to interested companies from the embedded hard- and software and service sector take place every three months in different locations.
